very short shorts (=trousers that end at or above the knees)... a particular highlight for me is ‘The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou’, when Willem Dafoe runs around in his microshorts and Cousteau-esque red woolly hat and exclaims “Are you guys having an aaaah-gument?” in a thick German accent.
