Inderborskii

an urban-type settlement, center of Inder Raion, Gur’ev Oblast, Kazakh SSR. A landing on the left bank of the Ural River, it is linked by road with Gur’ev (190 km). Population, 9,000 (1970). Inderborskii arose in 1935 in connection with the extraction of the salt in Inder Lake (a settlement since 1938).
