Gould, William B. (Benjamin) IV

(1939– ) legal scholar; born in Boston, Mass. Before his position at Stanford University (1972) he taught at Wayne State University (1968–71) and served as counsel to the United Automobile Workers (1961–62) and the National Labor Relations Board (1963–65). He is best known for his knowledge of labor law and arbitration, comparative labor law, and employment discrimination.
