Grumm-Grzhimailo Glacier

 

a valley glacier in the Pamirs.

The Grumm-Grzhimailo Glacier originates at the base of the Peak of the Revolution (6,974 m). Area, 160 km; length, 36.7 km; width, 3–0.5 km; elevation at its end, 3,620 m. It gives rise to the Tanymas River (basin of the Bartang). The glacier was discovered in 1887 by an expedition of G. E. and M. E. Grumm-Grzhimailo.
