Activities:Camping (including winter camping), boating, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking.
Special Features:Beacon Rock is the core of an ancient volcano. The ice-age floods through the Columbia River Gorge eroded the softer material away, leaving this unique geological structure standing by itself. Visitors can hike to the top of this massive rock formation, the world's second largest monolith, and view the Columbia River Gorge.
