Location:From Grand Junction, west on I-70 to Loma exit, then north on CO 139for 6 miles, west on Q Road 1.2 miles, north onto 11.8 Road for 1 mileto park entrance.
Facilities:28 campsites, showers, restrooms, laundry, 78 picnic sites, grouppicnic area, multi-use trails (5 miles), bathhouse, 2boat ramps, boat rental, jet ski rental, observation deck, snack bar(é).
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, sailboarding, jetskiing, hunting (with restrictions), hiking, mountain biking, horsebackriding, ice skating, ice fishing, winter camping, bird watching.
Special Features:Park features two lakes: Highline Lake is designated for water-skiersand boaters, and Mack Mesa Lake is designated for wakeless boatingonly. Both offer great fishing. The park is the center for water sportsin the Grand Valley of western Colorado and makes an ideal base campfor exploring the Grand Junction area.
