Established: 1974.
Location:Northeast of Fillmore, California.
Special Features:Area is a traditional feeding site for the endangered California condor. From October through May, the birds can occasionally be seen from observation points in the Los Padres National Forest (see entry in national forest section).
Habitats: 2,471 acres of rugged mountains, rock outcroppings, chaparral, hardwood groves, and open grasslands.
Access: Closed to visitation.
Wild life: California condor and other birds.
