Location:Near Felton on Highway 9 in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Facilities:Family and hike/bike campsites, restrooms and showers, picnic area,trails (20 miles), self-guided nature path, nature center withexhibits, giftshop, food service (é).
Activities:Camping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, guided tours. Fishing ispermitted in the San Lorenzo River during the steelhead and salmonseason, approximately November through February.
Special Features:Park features 15 miles of trails through a forest of coast redwoods,Douglas fir, madrone, oak, and a stand of Ponderosa pine. The main parkarea contains old-growth redwoods. The tallest tree in the park isabout 285 feet tall; the oldest trees are 1400-1800 years old.
