Special Features:Site holds the remains of the former summer estate of Royal GovernorJohn Wentworth, last of New Hampshire's colonial governors. The mansionburned to the ground in 1820. An archeological dig there unearthedartifacts that reveal details about daily life and work methods of theprivileged class of the period.
