Hungarian National Gallery

 

(Magyar Nemzeti Galéria), located in Budapest. The largest museum of Hungarian art. Founded in 1957. It includes works of painting, graphics, and sculpture of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is located in a building constructed by A. Houszmann in 1894-96.
