Hungarian-Yugoslav Treaty of 1940 on Perpetual Peace And Everlasting

a treaty between the Kingdoms of Hungary and Yugoslavia, signed with the approval of fascist Germany on December 12 in Belgrade by I. Csáky, Hungarian minister of foreign affairs, and A. Cincar-Marković, Yugoslav minister of foreign affairs. It was ratified at the beginning of 1941. The parties pledged to maintain peace and friendship with each other and to consult each other on all questions concerning the interests of both. However, by early 1941 the Hungarian government had already violated the treaty, allowing the passage of fascist German troops and participating on its side in the war against Yugoslavia.
