Ileksa

(also Iloksa), a river in Arkhangel’sk Oblast, RSFSR, and in the Karelian ASSR. Length, 155 km; basin area, 3,950 sq km. The Ileksa originates from Lake Kalgachinskoe, it flows through a number of lakes and empties into Lake Vodlozero. The annual flow rate ranges from 137 cu m/sec. to 11 cu m/sec. The Ileksa is used for floating timber.
