Agrophytinoenosis

Agrophytinoenosis

agrocoenoses, plant communities artificially created by man. Various categories of ag-rophytinoenoses are recognized. Cultivated ag-rophytinoenoses are natural communities which are altered by intensive exploitation, such as forests and meadows exploited on a planned (regular) basis. Semicultivated ag-rophytinoenoses are artificial communities which are not developed on a planned basis, such as timber stands and seeded perennial meadows. Arable agrophytinoenoses are communities whose development is constantly controlled by man, such as orchards, plantations, and planted fields. Intensively cultivated ones are communities where not only the soil conditions are created and constantly controlled, but sometimes the water and air conditions as well (hothouse crops, aeroponics, and hydroponics).
