Established: 1993.
Location:Northernmost point of Guam.
Facilities:Visitor center.
Activities:Education programs, fishing.
Special Features:Most of the refuge is an "overlay" on lands administered by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. Although the military mission is given precedence on these lands, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service assists in protecting native species and habitats.
Habitats: 22,500 acres of volcanic Pacific island.
Access: Refuge's 772-acre Ritidian Unit is open to public.
Wild life: Endangered Mariana fruit bat, Mariana crow, island swiftlet, and Mariana common moorhen.
