Iasachnye Knigi

registers of Siberian volosti (small rural districts) containing lists of iasachnye liudi (people obligated to pay the iasak, or tax in kind) and records of payment. More than 1,700 iasachnye knigi, dating from the 1620’s through the 1720’s, have been preserved.
