[¦im·yə·nə¦läj·ik ′täl·ə·rəns] (immunology) A condition in which an animal will accept a homograft without rejection. A state of specific unresponsiveness to an antigen or antigens in adult life as a consequence of exposure to the antigen in utero or in the neonatal period.
