Hardy, Hugh Hardy, Hugh (1932–)Spanish-born American architect; formed a partnership with Malcolm Holzman and Norman Pfeiffer in New York City. The firm designed many theaters and became known for its use of disparate parts, giving an impression of incompleteness. He restored the glory of radio City Music Hall (1999), and revived the New Victory Theater (illus.), and the New Amsterdam theater, all in New York City. |
