Location:3.5 miles north of Milford, off IA 86.
Facilities:Campground with 112 campsites (60 with electrical hookups; @di), pavedroads, modern restroom and shower facilities, and playground equipment,day-use lodge (é), open picnic shelters (é), interpretive trail,swimming beach, fishing pier.
Activities:Camping, swimming, lake fishing, boating, sailing, water-skiing, hiking, cross-country skiing, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:Located on West Lake Okoboji, this park serves as headquarters for theGull Point Complex of state parks and recreation areas aroundnorthwestern Iowa'slakes region. The park features the Gulf Point Lodge, built in the1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. It is the largest historiclodge in the state and includes full kitchen facilities and seating for140 people. The lodge can be reserved for a variety of group activities.
