arrhythmias of the heart, sometimes apparent after a vacation or weekend away from work, following excessive alcohol consumption; usually transient.
A condition defined as an acute cardiac rhythm and/or conduction disturbance, most often supraventricular tachyarrhythmia, associated with heavy ethanol consumption in a person without other clinical evidence of heart disease, which is typically resolved rapidly with spontaneous recovery during subsequent abstinence from alcohol use
