Banff Festival of the Arts

May-AugustThe Banff Arts Festival grew out of the Banff Centre School of Fine Arts, which was founded in 1933 in this mountain town nestled in the Canadian Rockies. Every summer since 1971, students and faculty of the school, along with internationally renowned artists, have presented a vast array of programs in jazz, vocal jazz, orchestral and chamber music, opera, drama, dance, literature, journalism, visual arts, Aboriginal arts, and film.
