Husa, Václav

 

Born June 25, 1906; died Feb. 6, 1965. in Prague. Czechoslovak historian. Corresponding member of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences (1952).

Husa became a professor at Charles University in Prague in 1948. His principal works are on the economic, social, and cultural history of Czechoslovakia and the theoretical issues of historical science.
