Hushang Seyhun

Born 1920. Iranian architect.

Seyhun graduated from the faculty of fine arts at the University of Tehran, where he studied architecture. Many of his works, including the mausoleum of Avicenna in Hamadan (1952), combine modern functionalism with such traditional Iranian elements as inscriptions and medieval ornamental motifs.
