Harrison, Wallace K.

(1895–1981)Formed one of the most successful practices in the United States with Raymond Hood. He worked on Rockefeller Center, New York City, and designed the United Nations building, New York City, with Le Corbusier; the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance building, Hartford, CT; Lincoln Center, New York City; U.S. Steel Building (illus.), Pittsburgh, PA, and the gigantic South Mall Government Complex in Albany, NY.
