HTTPd (World-Wide Web)(Hypertext transfer protocol daemon).
An HTTP/1.0-compatible server, written by Rob McCool of NCSA, for making hypertext andother documents available to World-Wide Web browsers.
HTTPd is designed to be small and fast and to work with mostHTTP/0.9 and HTTP/1.0 browsers. You can customise yourserver to execute searches and handle HTML forms. It alsosupports server side include files, allowing you to includethe output of commands or other files in HTML documents.
The current (1994-08-08) version is 1.3.
