an urban-type settlement in Simferopol’ Raion, Crimea Oblast, Ukrainian SSR; located on the Salgir River, near the Moscow-Simferopol’ highway. Railroad junction (Ostriakovo). Population, 11,000 (1970). Gvardeiskoe has a hothouse combine and a bakery.
