Special Features:Following the route of the nation's oldest scenic highway, this road-to-trails project consists of two unconnected paved paths along abandoned portions of the highway. Trail leads through semi-arid terrain, past geologic formations that tell the story of the gorge's creation, into forest and lush greenery.
