Haku-San

an active volcano in Japan, in the central part of the island of Honshu; situated in the Ryohaku Mountains. Haku-san rises to an elevation of 2,702 m. It is peltate in shape, with three projections from which andésite lava flows during eruptions. The last eruption occurred in 1893.
