Architectural Fund

(full name, Architectural Fund of the Architects’ Union of the USSR), a social organization that helps to raise the qualifications of architects, gives them material aid for creative purposes, and ensures cultural and medical services for architects and their families. The fund was created by order of the permanent Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR on Oct. 5, 1934. Its charter was confirmed in 1935. Members of the Architectural Fund are also members of the Architects’ Union of the USSR.
