Special Features:Honey Creek sits alongside Iowa's largest lake, Rathbun Lake, and is a part of the Rathbun Lake recreation complex consisting of 11,000 acres with eight parks, 155 miles of shoreline, two marinas, and 21,000 acres of public land. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources also manages the Rathbun Fish Hatchery and Fisheries Research Facility located below the dam.
