Iadrin

a city and the administrative center of Iadrin Raion, Chuvash ASSR. Iadrin is a landing on the left bank of the Sura River. It is located 60 km north of the Shumerlia railroad station on the Murom-Kanash line and 87 km southwest of Cheboksary. Industrial enterprises include an alcohol plant, a creamery, a brickyard, and a garment factory. The city also has food-processing and industrial combines.
