Hammell, Robert

(1945–2008)Washington, DC–based architect Hammell worked on 12 projects involving Category One National Landmarks, including the Jefferson Memorial, the Treasury Department Building, and the Pentagon. In 2001 Hammell cofounded the National Landmark Institute to study and teach design, technical, and management skills for high-profile public projects.
