Ichigi

a type of footwear worn by both men and women. Ichigi are high boots, sewn with soft leather or colored morocco. Sometimes they have a soft sole and are worn with leather overshoes. Ichigi are worn by some Russians in Siberia, by Tatars and Bashkirs, by most of the peoples of Middle Asia, and by some peoples of the Caucasus, for example, the “archita“worn by the Ossets.
