Ingressive Shores

broken shorelines formed as a result of the penetration of low-lying coastal land by seawater (when the sea level rises or the shore submerges). Depending on the origin of these low-lying areas, ingressive snores are classified as glacial (fjord or skerry), fluvial (ria or lagoon), eolian (Aral shore type), and structural-denudational (Dalmation type). Each type has a distinctive appearance.
