Internal Snapping Hip Syndrome A permutation of the snapping hip syndrome caused by a snapping of the iliopsoas tendon over the iliopectineal eminence due to overuse which may occur in any activity with repeated hip flexion or external femoral rotation. Activities that predispose to iliopsoas tendinitis include dancing/ballet, resistance training—e.g., squats, rowing, running—particularly uphill, track & field, soccer, gymnastics. |
