(500–1000)Decorative patterned brickwork, colored tile and molded stucco characterize this style. Other attributes are the use of stalactite vaults. The essential elements are richly decorated surfaces with brightly colored tiles and molded stucco. The minaret evolved into a standard form that had an influence on Indian architecture.
