[¦in·tər·tə′bər·kyə·lər ′səl·kəs] (anatomy) A deep groove on the anterior surface of the upper end of the humerus, separating the greater and lesser tubercles; contains the tendon of the long head of the biceps brachii muscle. Also known as bicipital groove.
