iWork

Apple's office applications for Macs and iOS devices. Introduced in 2005 and superseding AppleWorks, iWork was intially sold as a suite of three apps for the Mac: Pages word processing, Numbers spreadsheet and Keynote presentation graphics. Later unbundled and sold independently, the iWork applications were subsequently made free for Macs and iOS devices. See application suite.

Although the native formats have .pages, .numbers and .key file extensions, popular formats such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint can be imported and exported. See iLife, iCloud and AppleWorks.
