Irendyk

a mountain range in the Southern Urals, Bashkir ASSR. Length, 120 km; elevation, up to 987 (Mount Karatash-mus).

The Irendyk Range is composed of porphyrites, diabases, and limestones. The northern portion is covered with taiga forest, and the southern with fescue and feather-grass steppes.
