Karpuninskii

a urban-type settlement in Verkhotur’eRaion, Sverdlovsk Oblast, RSFSR; located 76 km east of the cityof Verkhotur’e. It has a railroad station on the Serov-Alapaevskline. Logging is done in Karpuninskii. It is also the site of aprefabricated-housing plant.
