Karsakpai

an urban-type settlement in Dzhezdy Raion, Dzhezkazgan Oblast, Kazakh SSR; located 90 km west of theDzhezkazgan railroad station. Population, 6, 000 (1970). Karsakpai is the site of a copper-smelting plant that uses the ore of the Dzhezkazgan deposits.
