iridodonesis

A trembling of the iris on eye movement that occurs when it has lost the support of the crystalline lens, normally situated immediately behind it, after intracapsular cataract extraction or lens dislocation.

iridodonesis

A tremulous condition of the iris. It usually occurs in aphakic eyes, when the eye is subluxated or when there has been an injury to the eye. Syn. tremulous iris. See luxation of the lens; phacodonesis.
