(Potatoes and Vegetables), themonthly scientific production journal of the Ministry of Agricul-ture of the USSR, founded in 1956 under the title Kartofel’ (Potatoes). It was renamed in 1960. The journal is intended for researchers, agronomists, brigade leaders, field-team leaders, and workers at sovkhozes and kolkhozes. The journal is also read byamateur gardeners.
