Kamchatka Gulf
an inlet of the Pacific Ocean, off theeastern shore of the Kamchatka Peninsula. It cuts 74 km inlandand measures approximately 148 km wide and and up to 2, 000m deep. Tides are irregular diurnal, measuring up to 2 m. Thebanks are low-lying. The port of Ust’-Kamchatsk is situated onthe gulf.
