Facilities:Museum, historic buildings, gift shop, picnic area.
Special Features:This cotton plantation was owned by the Jarrell family for more than140 years. In 1847 John Fitz Jarrell built the simple heart pine housetypical of most plantations and made many of the furnishings visitorssee today. John's son later diversified the farm, adding a sawmill,cotton gin, gristmill, shingle mill, planer, sugar cane press, syrupevaporator, workshop, barn, and outbuildings.
