[‚i·rə′nȯid·ē·ə] (invertebrate zoology) A superfamily of presumably carnivorous, fresh-water and soil-dwelling nematodes in the order Enoplida, having two circlets of cephalic sensory organs, a cylindrical, elongate stoma armed either anteriorly with three large teeth or posteriorly with small teeth, and cuticularized stomatal walls.
