Kazakin

Russian outerwear in the 19th century and early 20th; a type of shortened caftan with hook closing and tiny gathers at the back of the waist and a short, stand-up collar. In certain districts of Russia and the Ukraine, the kazakin in its variants was an accessory in both men’s and women’s native costumes. The kazakin was usually made of cloth, and the collar and sleeves were sometimes trimmed with braid or galloon.
