Kamen-Kashirskii

a city (since 1939); administrativecenter of Kamen’-Kashirskii Raion, Volyn’ Oblast, UkrainianSSR, on the Tsir River (a tributary of the Pripiat’). It is theterminus of the railroad branch line from the Kovel’ station (onthe Rovno-Brest line). The city has a wood products plant anda creamery. Kamen’-Kashirskii has been known since the 12thcentury.
