Kamennomostskii has a railroad station (Khadzhokh), the terminus of a 64-km line connecting with the Armavir-Tuapse line. There are timber procurement establishments, a timber combine, and factories producing construction materials and souvenirs made of gypsum stone in the settlement. A fruit-growing sovkhoz is also located in Kamennomostskii. The settlement is a tourist center and a starting point for trips to the Caucasian Preserve and to the mountains of the Western Caucasus.
