Intrazonality

the distribution of features or components of nature (soils, vegetation, landscapes) as discrete, regular disseminations within one or more adjacent geographic zones. Intrazonal phenomena bear the imprint of the influences of the nature in the zones surrounding them. Intrazonality is a particular case of azonality.
