Irshansk

an urban-type settlement in Volodarsk-Volynskii Raion, Zhitomir Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, situated on the Irsha River (a tributary of the Teterev River), 10 km from the Turchinka railroad station (on the Zhitomir-Korosten’ line). There is a mining beneficiation combine in Irshansk (ilmenite concentrate is obtained).
